Morning Schedule

7:30 – Fun Run Registration – Near the Pier

9:00 – Race Starts 🏃‍♂️

9:00 – 11:00 – Ras Danny – 2nd Street South (In front of Baywood Inn)

Ras Danny is renowned for his soulful treatment of Motown, reggae, and everything else he plays. His desire to give back to our community for the years locals have enjoyed him is an important reason why Danny views his Oktoberfest performance as a special one. We got him this one time – you won’t forget seeing Ras Danny on Oktoberfest morning.

9:00 – 3:00 – By the Bay Car Show – Lined along 2nd Street 🚗

See why this is among the county’s most popular car shows – many entrants only do this show! You’ll enjoy the car styles of years gone by – talk with the proud owners. They don’t make ’em like that anymore!

9:00 – 11:00 – Familiar Strangers – 2nd Street North (Across from Noi’s)

Familiar Strangers’ music blends perfectly into the vibe of the car show and the many food and craft exhibits surrounding the displayed metal beauties. They played last year, and because of their popularity, we are happy to have this duo back again.

10:00 – 10:30 – Morro Bay High School Cheer Squad Demonstration – Merrimaker Main Stage

This award-winning squad has more energy than the caffeine in your coffee! ☕ It’s fun seeing the enthusiasm and athletic ability of the dedicated cheerleaders of Morro Bay High School.

11:00 – 11:50 – Oktoberfest 45 Brewers, Winemakers, and Musician Showcase – Merrimaker Main Stage

Learn what has been brought especially for Oktoberfest by the craft beer brewers and winemakers – get to know them, and the musicians that will make Oktoberfest a fun day that only happens once a year.

Afternoon Schedule – Merrimaker Main Stage

12:00 to 1:30 – Strange Cake

They start Oktoberfest off but are headliners elsewhere. This is a “local musicians make good” band because of their own way of covering great diverse songs from the Grateful Dead to ZZ Top to Stevie Wonder and others.

1:30 to 2:00 – Pet, Kid, and Adult Costume Contests 🎭

You’ll be the judge in this audience-decides-the-winner for the super fun costume contests – from a baby goat winning the pet contest, a 9-year-old Freddie Mercury, or a Pulp Fiction overdosed Uma Thurman. These contests are small-town fun at its best!

2:00 to 3:30 – Josh Rosenblum Band

Voted New Times’ most recent Best Album winner, Josh was a Mission Plaza headliner during the summer. He is the Jimi Hendrix – Stevie Ray Vaughn of the Central Coast. Being joined with his brother on sax, the Josh Rosenblum Band is amazing – if you have seen him, you know what we mean; if you haven’t, you will!

3:30 to 4:00 – Let’s Polka! 💃

It’s Oktoberfest! We’ll play polka’s greatest hits – didn’t know there were any? Wait until you hear “Who Stole the Schnitzel!” Can’t polka? Neither can we, so don’t let that stop you from dancing the polka in your own way! As the Irish say: Dance like no one’s watching! It’s only fun!

4:00 to 5:30 – Soul Kool

A combination of great showmanship and musicians. We dare you to try and not dance! Earth, Wind and Fire, Sly Stone, funk – Soul Kool will literally bring fans from one end of the county to the other because of how good they are. It will be a day of great music; Soul Kool will make us want to hear more!

All Day Events

Biergarten – Opens at 11:00 AM 🍺

Over a dozen craft beer, cider, and winemakers – carefully selected by a local expert for Oktoberfest. These brewers will have offerings especially for the day. Can’t list them all here, but we are proud of Biergarten. Located around Merrimaker Main Stage, there will be great music to move to, special spirits, friends in beautiful Baywood – it’s always fun every year!

Limited Edition Oktoberfest 45 Very Cool Cups

Get a souvenir drink cup for any kind of liquid – collectible! Good for $1.00 off beers at Merrimaker after-party 6:00 to 8:00. Find them at the Biergarten ticket location.

By the Bay Car Show – Lined along 2nd Street

Among the most popular car shows on the Central Coast! Some exhibitors only do this show! Talk with the owners, learn what they did to create their beautiful car display – or just stroll and admire. Trophies awarded – goes until 3:00.

Kid’s Zone – Opens at noon 👶

Supervised fun activities for kids – crafts and games – FREE!

Food and Crafts – Lined on 2nd Street

So many exhibits! All we can say is there’s a great assortment of food, art, information, hand-made crafted items to leisurely enjoy!

Brat Row 🌭

Easy to find – get the best of the wurst! Check out Oktoberfest bratwurst for go power during the day.
