Birding and Botanizing at Santa Margarita Lake
May 2 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Join bird and plant lovers for a day-long visit to Santa Margarita Lake. The event, a collaboration between MCAS and CNPS-SLO, includes morning and afternoon guided field trip options, along with a group lunch and time for socializing.
This event is a wonderful way to celebrate our shared commitment to protecting and conserving native flora and fauna in our local biodiverse natural areas.
Participants are welcome to attend all or part of the day’s activities. Please follow directions to the morning field trip trailhead and/or the lunch site parking areas. Morning field trip participants are encouraged to join the optional carpool meet-up location in Santa Margarita.
