Join our mindfulness mini-meetup for kids on Zoom
During this time of “shelter-at-home” for the COVID-19 response, children (and their grownups) are going to feel a heightened sense of worry, anxiety, fear, or other difficult emotions. Play is essential for addressing and healing the mental and emotional issues of children. Join me as I share mini-lessons from Mindful Kindful YOUniversity’s regular school programs, community classes, and personal coaching services to help lighten the atmosphere in your home, help ease anxiety and tension, and feel more in control of difficult emotions.
Learn, practice, and grow skillfully with us through the science and art of trauma-informed mindfulness, movement, and positive psychology to cultivate your inner resources, or “superpowers” for mental health and well-being. We will do a variety things such as calming and relaxation practices, movement activities, stories, and more.
WHO: The targeted audience for these virtual meet-ups is elementary school-aged children. A grown-up must be nearby to help with the tech side of things (and to learn as well!) Siblings of all ages are welcome to join in, but the teaching is geared for elementary age.
