aka The Mindful Kindful Peaceful Club!
One-of-a-kind weekly Mindfulness-based Social-Emotional Learning Enrichment Program where we playfully explore our inner world of thoughts, emotions, attitudes, behaviors. We learn and practice the healthy habits to develop kindness, peace, resilience, leadership, and positivity from the inside and out to build a foundation for greater mental strength, resilience, and happiness for well-being.
This class is especially beneficial for students who may “hold it together” in school or group settings but may (or not) have challenges in emotional-regulation with friends and family. Some of these students may be identified as extremely “shy,” anxious, easily overwhelmed, tentative, and reluctant to speak or share (but over time or in small groups becomes more comfortable), while others are described as “easy going”, calm, and love to share and lead – they are great role models and friends. Together we’ll explore and practice our superpowers of self-empowerment, self-awareness and self-regulation of body, heart, and mind through stories, creativity, relationship-building, and more, in a calm and safe setting. Students in this group should easily follow directions and be able to self-regulate in a group learning environment.
REGISTRATION + LOS OSOS CLASS DETAILS:
We keep our class intimate with a class maximum limited to 8 students, and minimum of 3.
This summer we’ll hold Dragonfly Circles at various parks and beaches in Morro Bay and Los Osos, as well as a teen program! Personal coaching is offered year round. We are an Inspire vendor.
