The purpose of the South Bay Women’s Network is to promote the ideals of today’s goal-oriented woman. The South Bay Women’s Network is open to all women on all job levels and in every occupation. It offers an opportunity to meet with other interesting women, to share ideas, build friendships, and exchange support needed for growth on a professional and personal level.
South Bay Women’s Network also provides support and assistance to Stand Strong (formerly Women’s Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo County) and provides scholarships to female, adult re-entry students attending Cuesta College. South Bay Women’s Network supports the women of SLO county by collaborating with The Commission on the Status of Women. The CSW works to determine the needs of women in our county in various areas such as housing, jobs and medical care. Every year the SBWN co-sponsors a benefit to honor women volunteers within the county who work tirelessly and generously to meet the needs of our community.
South Bay Women’s Network meets each month and offers its members valuable networking time with other business women and informative presentations from a variety of speakers on topics relevant to business and the goals of business women.
